The Horses At Lazy M Ranch, Caroline, Alberta

The motif for this scene was captured “at dawn’s early light” during a walk through the pasture at the Lazy M Ranch, where many times our art groups were dude ranch guests, and royally treated to awesome home-cooked meals, trail rides, and painting excursions during our weekend stays.

This painting is in the style of watercolour “pouring” technique, as opposed to the traditional method of laying on colour with brushwork.
