The French Connection

A trip to France inspired a body of work mostly centred on this beautiful site that featured a long rectangular man-made pool, bordered by France’s Plante trees, with their elephantine trunks.  The reflections were mesmerizing and urged the creation of many paintings for the French Connection series.
