“Kluane Lake as seen from the Top of Outpost Mountain, Yukon”

This painting was selected for Canada Year Book 2001.  Four artists’ works were chosen to represent the four directions - north, south, east and west.  This painting represented Canada’s north.

Of note is that this is the exact site, on the brow of Outpost Mountain’s steep incline, with that awesome view before us, where the four artists settled to paint and sketch on the fateful day when we eventually became lost on that mountaintop and were heli-rescued.
